Another highly successful Sustainability Committee was held during the recent ACA Winter Conference in Orlando. Committee Chair Tommy Norris divided the committee into five working groups previously identified and based on President Lannette Linthicum’s initial charge to the committee. The subcommittees will be working on the following sustainability issues:

GreenPrisons Founder and CEO joined ACA President Mary Livers in cutting the cake to celebrate the establishment of ACA’s Clean and Green Committee as a permanent, standing committee with a new name. The Committee will now be known as the Sustainability-Oriented and Environmentally Responsible Practices Committee.
